Maceo May Apartments provides a range of common areas, from gathering spaces to healing gardens, to serve a diverse population of Veterans who have recently experienced homelessness and families with young children. Community-centered design prioritizes access to views for all residents, active ground-floor uses, and place-based wayfinding to integrate with the new neighborhood.
The 55 Cravath project included furnishing and installing all connections to factory-built units per the proposed modular layout mechanical drawings. All heating and cooling ductwork in accordance with local codes and specifications. All smoke detectors, fire and smoke dampers, grills, registers, diffusers, and ceiling access panels. Bay City Mechanical also installed the Building Automation System for the property.
