El Camino Women’s Health Hospital

This 3-story, 91,000 square-foot building previously housed the first floor Women’s Hospital, with medical offices on the second and third floors. The medical offices were relocated in 2020 and phased construction of the expanded state-of-the art Women’s Hospital began in early 2021.

The project will cost about $149 Million over the next few years and will include the following:

  • 44% more patient rooms in the mother-baby unit

  • 25% more patient rooms in labor and delivery that can flex into beds for antepartum care

  • 20% more licensed neonatal intensive care (NICU) beds

  • New entry canopy, expanded lobby with café and gift shop

  • Several infrastructure upgrades including new heating and air conditioning system, equipment upgrades, elevator modernization, and updated fire alarm system

Bay City Mechanical’s responsibbility on the project include; all management, design assistance, supervision, installation, coordination, labor, material, equipment, detailing, fabrication, testing, start-up, balancing, commissioning, and all incidental items required for a complete HVAC system for the El Camino Women’s Health project.
